Why did you choose this major/study programme?


When I was a child I wanted to be a doctor, specifically a pediatrician. It wasn´t really my dream job, but I was sure that it was what I would do when I grew up.
When I started High School I began to do an acting workshop, thanks to that I realized I wanted to be an actress. I had this idea for about three years, but I was always listening negative comments about the profitability of the job. Finally, although it was my dream job, I decided to keep looking for another study programme.
The last years of High School I had many ideas of what I wanted to study, like law, architecture, english literature and language, etc., but at the end my major options were Public Administration and English Pedagogy. 
Finally, I chose Public Administration because I wanted to -and still want- help others when I finish the major. So far, my experience at the university has been cool because I love what I study.
I don´t know yet what kind of job I would like to have, but I would like to work in the Ministerio de Obras Públicas or the Ministerio de Educación.

    Carol, you wanted to be a lot of things before to choose this major jajajaj I am sure that you would be a excellent professional independently the thing that you do.

My favourite band: The Neighbourhood

It's hard for me to choose a favourite band because I like lots of singers and bands that I listen to every day, but there's no doubt that  The Neighbourhood  is one of my favourites bands. If my memory serves me right, the first time that I listened to The Nbhd 's music was in 2014, when I was 14 years old. OPINIONS

My opinion about: Adoption In my opinion, adoption children is a very gentle action, because it's a way to give love and affection to someone whose rights has been violated or someone who didn't get this warmth before, so they really need it. Also, it benefit two parts: the parents who can't have a biological child and the child who needs to be cared. Nowadays there are a lot of children who need to be adopted, so I think that we should take care of them before thinking about having a biological child. Having pets at home I think that having pets at home is cool, because humans take care of pets and pets give so much love and company to them. When we have pets at home we form a special bond with them and pets become part of the family. Currently, I have no pets in my home, but I would really like to have one! My future job

I don't know yet what I want to do in the future, I mean, the specific kind of job that I would like to do, but I know that I would like to work in a municipality or a ministry. This type of job is generally done indoors, but I would like to work in an area that enables me to have more contact with the people, so I imagine my future job as a combination of "indoors" and "outdoors" and always in accordance with what is best for the people. I would like to travel a lot in my job, but I think that this kind of jobs barely allow to travel, because they are very static. However, I would choose a job that permits me to travel as much as possible within the country, because it would be interesting to know its different realities and thus work to reduce the inequalities and gaps. Regarding to the salary, I don't expect to become a millionairess, I just hope that the money I earn in the future will be enough to lead a quiet life, without financial worries. Curr...
